Getting Your Photos Restored

OPR will be coming to Joplin on October 7-8th!

Come to the Joplin Public Library from 9am to 6pm that Friday or Saturday. The library is located:   300 S. Main Street, Joplin, MO

You can bring 20 photographs to be restored. Things you need to know:

  • Remove them from frames and glass
  • Remove them from photo albums

If you would like to fill out the forms ahead of time to save time here are some instructions.

Photo Description Form : this gets filled out and filled with OPR

  • Name
  • Photograph File name = firstinitial + lastname+number _(underscore)sizeXsizeEx: vjohnson1_3pt5x3pt5 … this is a 31/2 x 31/2
    Ex. vjohnson2_3x5
    Ex. vjohnson3_8x10

OPR Release Form : this is needed for copyright purposes. Just fill out your information and an OPR representative will sign and file.

  1. I have a picture of myself that was a gift from Tri-State yrs ago, it’s about a 16 x 20 or so, it has damage on the face & around the rest of the pict. Can it be touched up?
